Golden Raised Eyebrow packet

A new red tea from Wuyi Shan in Fujian. Apparently they found some wild tea bushes on the mountain and sent the golden tips to be processed in a similar way to Lapsang Souchong. The result is a lightly smoked tea that's slightly earthy and thick but really tastes like you already put cream in it.

Brewing tips: Red teas can be brewed in a gaiwan or in a Yixing teapot. Preheat vessel and cups with near boiling water (85-95ºC or 185-200ºF). Empty packets into vessel and add water and push off the bubbles with the lid as you cover and pour out this first rinse. Add more water, cover and infuse for 20 seconds, depending on taste. You can gradually increase the infusion time with subsequent brewings.

Sold in little 5g packets, great for single servings!
